Westbeach Skate Park
Where: Africaine Road off Tapleys Hill Road,
West Beach, South Australia.
What: West Beach skatepark is not yet completed, but will be one of the
biggest and best vert ramps in Australia. The vert ramp is approximately 20
metres in width and has 2 escalators and 3 extensions. The structure is made
of wood with a metal surface. Under construction is also a cement bowl
section based on the Ulladulla skatepark in NSW. Aswell as the big bowl
section there are smaller bowl sections designed for beginners and
intermediate skaters. Basically this park is going to attract skaters from
all around australia. The park has been under construction for a couple of
years and has been built partly by school students under a government funded
project. so lets hope they built it well. Stay tuned
