Hallett Cove
Where: Capella Drive,
Hallett Cove, South Australia.
What: There are two sections to this cement park, a beginner section and an
advanced section. The recently built beginner park is made up of a 3ft bank
at one end, a 3 ft quarter pipe at the other end and a 2 ft funbox in the
middle. The advanced section contains a 4.5 ft high fun box with a square
rail on one side enclosed partly by a 6ft bank which joins to a quarter pipe
with round coping. On the open side next to the box is a fat curve rail and
a 1ft small box. The square rail on the box is positioned in the middle of
the box and gets in the way, but the box is still good for launches and can
be hit with speed after dropping in from the 6ft bank. Overall the park is
good value with nice coping and transitions.
