Brad Watson: My name is Bradley H Watson I live in Geelong I'm 20 years old and I've been rollerblading for a bit over six years. my sponsors include roces skates and fusion skate shop.

DaKlinic.Com: I know you've been around the scene for awhile.. How long have you been competitively involved in inline skating?
Brad Watson: The first comp I went to was the 1996 Aussie titles at Bondi beach in Sydney. it was a big turning point in my life, I never new how amazing skating really was until I saw all the Aussie pros doing there tricks in real life.

DaKlinic.Com: Single?
Brad Watson: I'm very single at the moment.

DaKlinic.Com: Where are you from, where do you skate?
Brad Watson: I mostly skate at the waurn ponds skate park in Geelong. when I ride vert I like to go to Vermont or Nobal park in Melbourne.

DaKlinic.Com: How did you get into skating?
Brad Watson: A really big fat kid saw some in a Kmart mag. and he loved them he said I had to get some because they where the coolest thing he had ever seen. they where Malibu txt 900s that cost $30 and I thought they where great.

DaKlinic.Com: What was the last contest u entered?
Brad Watson: The last comp I went in was the 2001 Aussie titles. I think I may have won the vert there. (big props to Dave Wilcok for winning street).

DaKlinic.Com: What are your other interests other than skating?
Brad Watson: hmm... well I'm really very boring, I just like playing video games chilling with friends watching movies, maybe a bit of partying.

DaKlinic.Com: Which would you rather be Rockstar or Pornstar?
Brad Watson: well since I'm already a bit of a rockstar maybe I'd like to try some porn.

DaKlinic.Com: What kinda beats do you like to fill your brain with?
Brad Watson: Any hip hop with good beats I don't care much for gangster rap or R and B, also a bit of Metalica when I need to get pumped up.

DaKlinic.Com: What do you think is the gnarliest thing you did on a skates?
Brad Watson: My crash at Xgames was very scary even though I don't remember it.

DaKlinic.Com: Is it all about street, or do you like skating trannies too?
Brad Watson: It's all about being a complete skater I think street helps me look at vert differently and vert makes me wont to go bigger on street. I find it hard to get into the really tech side of street but I always try to push myself on rails and gaps and stuff.

DaKlinic.Com: What would a dream session be for you?
Brad Watson: The biggest park in the world with infinity lines, hips and transfers and all the crazy assis going off together and DJ Shep mixing phat tracks for us to jam to.

DaKlinic.Com: Do you ever cut it on the the turntables?
Brad Watson: Well I'm tone deaf and have trouble working a stereo, so no.

DaKlinic.Com: What inspires you to keep going big?
Brad Watson: The hope of inspiring other people to go big and the feeling I get when I stomp a big trick.

DaKlinic.Com: What are some cd's that you have been listening to lately?
Brad Watson: The old Jarasic 5 cd, best of Metalica, the real slim shady.

DaKlinic.Com: What kind of car do you drive?
Brad Watson: To drive you need a license.

DaKlinic.Com: What's your first memory of skating?
Brad Watson: When I watched dare to air that was the first time I saw real skating, so that's my first real memory.

DaKlinic.Com: What was your first good skates?
Brad Watson: A pair of rollerblade tarmacs with madisen grind plates and boot straps.

DaKlinic.Com: What was the first trick you learned that you were really stoked about?
Brad Watson: The bararni, its a flip on vert you come up backwards and do like a front flip 180.

DaKlinic.Com: Are there any old friends you wish still skated?
Brad Watson: There are lots of old friends that I wished still skated, back in the day we would have the biggest sessions and a lot of fun.

DaKlinic.Com: Do you remember throwing up out of a car window on Anzac Highway In SA?
Brad Watson: Errrr... its all kind of a blur are you sure that wasn't Matt.

DaKlinic.Com: How did you feel the next day?
Brad Watson: Ashamed, embarrassed, sick.
