Daniel Yeoman: Hi Adam, thanks for doing this interview for DaKlinic.com Could you start us off by first explaining to everyone how old you are, where you live and how long you've been skating?
Adam Wagner: 21, Brisbane & Skating for 8 years.
DaKlinic.Com: You haven't always lived up in Queensland. You used to live in Tasmania, like a few other well know skaters used to. What were you reasons for moving? Was it to further your skating?
Adam Wagner: It got to the stage where it was time to move on, I was completely over Tassie. It's not that big a place and over the years we have killed every skate spot known to man. Also the Weather kinda sux you have trouble skating 6 months of the year cause it's so cold and wet. When winter was approaching I packed my bags and left for the sun, I like to be able to skate all year round.
DaKlinic.Com: How's the Sunshine Coast in comparison to Tassie? Are you enjoying it?
Adam Wagner: Hell yeah, moving was the best decision I ever made. Brisi kills, it's a complete lifestyle change. Heaps of sick skate spots, the weather rocks and don't get me started on the girls, I know Adam V will back me up on this one.
DaKlinic.Com: Are you working now? If so what are you doing?
Adam Wagner: Just chillin out for a while skating a few hours each day, bit of play station, beers at night the usual. I'll have to get a job soon though moneys running out.
DaKlinic.Com: Who are you skating with up there?
Adam Wagner: Everyone, there are too many people to name. I share a house with Loannis Vovos, Paul Williams, and Rohan "Beef" Lapolombara everyone just turns up at our house to go skate or just chill. I love skating with everyone.
DaKlinic.Com: When you have some time to your self what do you like to do?
Adam Wagner: I'm a big fan of doing nothing. I love the beach, skating, drinking and having a sick time with good friends.
DaKlinic.Com: What's you favorite scary movie?
Adam Wagner: Future of Rollerblading 2, that scares the shit out of me to tell you the truth.
DaKlinic.Com: Describe to everyone what your perfect day would be.
Adam Wagner: Everyday is a perfect day cause I'm alive, as long as I'm fit and healthy I couldn't care less.
DaKlinic.Com: What CD would you put on to skate to?
Adam Wagner: Depends when skating hard and on vert I love Pennywise, Unwritten Law, The Living End stuff like that. If I'm gonna cruise I love good hip hop I'm an Ol school Daddy and love anything like Ice Cube, EPMD.
DaKlinic.Com: What CD would you put on at home when your winding down from a long days skate?
Adam Wagner: Lately Tupac, It's calming. If I listen to anything too fast I get too pumped up.
DaKlinic.Com: Have you been traveling and skating around Australia or overseas? Where did you go?
Adam Wagner: I've traveled to Brisi, Sydney, Melbourne. Last year I went overseas for 10 weeks to California, Utah and Vegas.
DaKlinic.Com: Do you have any further plans to travel and skate in the near future? Where would you like to go next?
Adam Wagner: I'm happy kickin back for a while, When you live in Brisi there is no real need to travel everyone sorta comes to you. Heaps of people have been up lately and I hope it continues. The only reason I traveled so much before was cause I wanted to get out of Tassie and to get more involved with the scene now it feels like we are in the centre. Once I finish skating hard I'll go to Europe and chill.
DaKlinic.Com: Do you have any sponsors? Who are they?
Adam Wagner: ROCES.
DaKlinic.Com: What is you skate set-up now?
Adam Wagner: Black Khuti's flat.
DaKlinic.Com: Is there anything you'd like to add or anyone you'd like to thank at this point?
Adam Wagner: So many people I'd like to Thank cause they have gone out of their way to help me a lot.
